Thank you for a wonderful 2016 season! We are wishing you health and happiness and lots of green growing for the upcoming year! Remember family and friends in all that you do and just keep smiling!
We're excited to get started already! Lots of greens to get growing in the solar tunnel, lots of maintenance and upkeep, and just getting ready for another wonderful green season! New things for this year, we are looking to try a few differnt types of mushrooms. Plus increase the amount of meat chickens from 75 to possibly 150 or more! Let us know what you think please! We love your input on what we are trying to do! More pigs this year also, if I can be smarter than the pig this year! Last year was a challenge learning how intelligent and resourceful these creatures actually are! We have stories to tell, let me tell ya'!
New fencing is being planned to go in first thing early spring for upgrading our pastures for the Dexter cattle. Water lines and electricity are already in, and more pasture seed needs to be drilled into the pastures for our small herd. We are expecting two more calves mid-April to May.
Lots to plan, lots to do, as I'm sure you are thinking the same, so here is wishing you a blessed year to come, filled with fun and laughter and plenty of farm fresh good eats!
